The Beatles, featuring Paul McCartney and John Lennon, are pictured here in this original black and white snapshot photograph taken at the New Musical Express 1962-63 Annual Poll-Winners All-Star Concert on April 21, 1963 at Empire Pool, Wembley, London. The Beatles did not win any awards on that day, as the polling had taken place towards the end of 1962 and they were insufficiently known nationwide, but the NME made them the penultimate act of the day due to the success of their recent singles. Measures 3.5 x 5. Very good condition with some light scratching on photo surface. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
