This is the original Diana Dors waxwork bust used for the Beatles “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album cover. The 50’s actress is one of the most prominent figures appearing on the cover and this waxwork was one of the few used that was chosen by the Beatles and Peter Blake. The bust was borrowed from Madame Tussauds in London (credited on the back of the album) for the album cover shoot on March 30, 1967. The bust sits on a 12 x 12 x12 square pedestal and total height is 24 inches.
