Bernie Taupin's personally owned custom Everlast boxing robe that was made specifically for Elton John's sold out shows in 1976 at Madison Square Garden. With Bernie's name embroidered in cursive on the front with "EJ" sewed above it, the Everlast label sewn on the left breast corner, and "MST 1976" in big bold black lettering sewn on the verso. the famed singer, songwriter and visual artist is best known for his long-term collaboration with Elton John, a songwriting partnership that is one of the most successful in rock history. Taupin has written the lyrics for most of John's songs. Good condition, the tie belt is not included. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
