Bob Dylan has handwritten and signed this postcard from Charleston, South Carolina to his daughter Desiree in blue ballpoint pen. Dylan has signed the post card "Daddy" and refers to himself as "daddy" throughout his writing , addressing her the nickname "Dezzy" and telling her how much he miss her and how he will be home soon. He addressed the post card "Desiree c/o Mama." Desiree is Dylan's daughter from his second wife Carolyn Dennis, who was one of Dylan's back-up singers when they first met. They married after the birth of their daughter Desiree. Desiree has been called Dylan's "secret" child, but Dennis has said that she and Dylan mutually decided to keep their wedding and their daughter out of the public eye out of concern for their daughter. The post card, measuring6 x 4, is post dated April 2004. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
