A gorgeous signature cut signed and inscribed in fountain pen by golfing legend Bobby Jones, “Robert T. Jones, Jr., July 9th, 1929,” (2.5 X 4.5). Signed shortly after winning his 3rd U.S Open Tournament, Bobby Jones is considered by most to be the greatest golfer ever. Among his many feats, Jones accomplished what many felt impossible, winning all four majors in the same year, 1930, (the U.S. and British Opens and their respective Amateur Championship events) only to retire immediately afterwards. Jones did however participate in the Masters Tournament from its’ inception 1934 until 1948. Bobby Jones is not only a legend for the championships he won, the spectacular Augusta National Golf Club course he designed and the renowned Masters Tournament which he co-founded, but he was also a true renaissance man - a scholar, family man, teacher, competitor, and above all, a gentleman who bore his "riches" with humility and grace. Very Good condition. 2.5 X 4.5. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
