An extremely historic and extensive file of material relating to important legal history of The Beatles detailing the story of the trademarking of "The Beatles" in the United States, signed by Beatles manager Brian Epstein five times throughout the documents. The lawyer who worked on this trademark, then renowned entertainment attorney Walter Hofer has signed three pages within the file as well. This file starts with the initial filing of the trademark, and tracks the progress (or lack thereof), including several missteps by Hofter, which ultimately resulted in the cancellation of the trademark in 1971. Consisting of 33 pages of documents, dating in 1964 and 1965, with 5 Brian Epstein signatures in total and 3 signatures of Walter Hofer. This comprehensive file represents ain amazingly historic Beatles collectibles. Pages vary in size from 8.5 x 11 to 8 x 13. Very good condition. Comes with a letter from Beatles handwriting expert Frank Caiazzo, authenticating the documents and the signatures, as well as a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
