Bruce Springsteen's owned and stage used Takamine dark visit acoustic guitar with serial number 84021650. This guitar comes from the collection of Michael Batlan, Bruce's personal technical assistant from1973-1986, whose responsibilities included the care and maintenance of his guitars. According to Batlan, he bought it in Los Angeles on behalf of Bruce for the "Born in the USA" recording sessions in 1984. Springsteen took the guitar on the "Born in the USA World Tour" and played the guitar on various songs through the world tour in 1984-85. Springsteen gifted the guitar to Batlan at the end of the tour while he was helping Springsteen survey and clear out his personal possessions and stage used musical items at a stage facility. Very good condition. With a detailed letter of provenance from Michael Batlan and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
