This is a remarkable piece with a remarkable story. In March, 1958 a weary Buddy Holly was worn out from touring in the U.K. and wrote a letter home to his parents on Grand Hotel letterhead in Leicester, England. This intimate, handwritten and signed letter gives a glimpse into the mind of one of Rock and Roll's progenitors — and it's not the glamorous lifestyle you might think. Years after Buddy Holly tragically died, this letter surfaced in an old Buddy Holly vinyl jacket in a vintage store. The letter was still in its original envelope. Very Good condition. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity, a Roger Epperson (REAL) Letter of Authenticity, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
