Cardi B wore this custom latex bodysuit and skirt in her music video for her break-out song "Bodak Yello". This was Cardi's debut commercial song and music video. Released in June 2017 on Atlantic Records, by September the song "Bodak Yellow" reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making Cardi B the first female rapper to do so with a solo single since Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)" debuted atop the chart in 1998.
