Charles M. Schulz — creator of the wildly popular and influential Peanuts Sunday comic strip — signed his large sketch of his most famous character Charlie Brown wearing a baseball caop and glove. Peanuts is about a social group of children, where adults are never seen and very rarely heard from. The series ran from October 2, 1950 to February 3, 2000, with 17,897 strips in total. It had 355 million readers in over 70 countries, and is equally famous for it’s Christmas special that ran on TV for decades. Peanuts has been adapted into movies, plays, and countless other mediums, and is considered one of the longest stories ever told. This sketch is inscribed “for Steven with friendship, Charles M.
