Cream "Best of Cream" original RIAA white matte gold album award presented to Felix Pappalardi. "Best pf Cream" is a compilation album of the band's material recorded from 1966 to 1968, and released shortly after their disbanding. Pappalardi is listed as a producer on most of the songs on this album, a co-writer on the iconic song "Strange Brew" and as a performing on piano and viola on the album. Pappalardi was a renowned music producer, songwriter, vocalist, and bassist, and best known as the bassist and co-lead vocalist of the band Mountain. He became closely attached to the British power trio Cream, (Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker) writing, arranging, and producing for their second album Disraeli Gears (1967). Although his band Mountain lasted less than five years, their work heavily influenced the first generation of heavy metal and hard rock music. Measures 17.5 x 21.5. Very good overall condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
