David Bowie has signed this “Aladdin Sane” album in blue felt tip pen. Acquired by a former RCA UK Employee. One of several million people who attended the "last show that we'll ever do" at Hammersmith Odeon on July 3rd, 1973. The original owner met David at RCA's head office in Bolton Street, Mayfair on the morning of 2nd July 1973 where David attended a meeting with manager Tony DeFries and RCA UK's Andy Hedges to discuss his next project - Pin Ups. He remembered shaking the hand of a very tired Bowie who had performed 189 Ziggy concerts in less than a year and a half, and who was about to complete the tour with two final shows up the road in Hammersmith. Although the carefully written signature has faded with time (it was signed in a blue felt tip), the autograph is one of the very few we have seen signed on Aladdin Sane as "David Bowie" - the majority of Aladdin's being signed just "Bowie". Comes with a David Bowie Autographs Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
