For much of 1966, David Bowie was backed by a group called the Buzz, although they only recorded one single with him (on which they were not credited). Bowie formed the Buzz quickly in February 1966; his previous band, the Lower Third, had left after a dispute with management over pay. Anything signed in 1966 by Bowie is rare, but also signed by the Buzz is next to impossible. Bowie and the Buzz has signed this item in black ballpoint pen, with several members inscribing the signatures to “Ella”. Measures 8 x 10. Good condition, with minor tape stain bottom right and minor rips on the edges. Comes with a Roger Epperson Letter of Authenticity (REAL) and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
