These Peavey stack of amps, serial numbers, 0815897, 00-06258948 and 00-05619126 were used on the “Balance” album in 1994. Eddie Van Halen recorded the album in his 5150 Studio but also in the Armoury Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia. Eddie always stayed true to his sound so he used his patent 5150 Peavy sound with his Ernie Ball Music Man guitar throughout most of the recording. After the recording, Eddie gave the amps to Bruce Fairbairn, the album producer for Armoury Studios. Bruce has worked with the biggest names in the business, including Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, AC/DC and obviously, Van Halen. “Balance” marked the end of an era for Van Halen, with it being the last album having Sammy Hagar on vocals. It was the last album that actually produced radio hits for Van Halen. These amps are a part of that history, being the amps used extensively during the albums recording. The most important amps related to Van Halen ever to be offered in public sale. Comes with a letter of provenance from Scott Fairbairn and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
