Franklin D. Roosevelt — 32nd President of the United States — and his wife Eleanor signed this photograph using black pens. Roosevelt, who was known by his initials FDR, won a record four United States Presidential elections and served from 1933 to 1945, navigating the United States through both World War II and the Great Depression. He served as President up until his death, shortly before the end of World War II. His wife Eleanor was a highly influential diplomat and activist, and was labelled “First Lady of the World” in a tribute from Harry S. Truman. Very Good condition. Measures 11” x 9” with frame.
