This is Elvis Presley’s owned and worn short-sleeve button front “sharkskin” shirt bearing the “Sportop” label size 15-15 ½. MGM purchased several of these Sportop shirts for Elvis’ film “Jailhouse Rock.” Elvis liked these shirts so much he took a number of them and used them for every day wear. Accompanied by a photograph of Elvis wearing this shirt, or a very similar one, on a boat ride with close friend Red West in Biloxi, Mississippi. Comes with letter of provenance from close friend and wardrobe valet Richard Davis. Very good condition.
