This is Elvis Presley's white knit sweater that he wore in 1955 while performing for the Louisiana Hayride. The cardigan sweater was originally given to Homer Gilleland, his longtime hairstylist and then sold by Tom Morgan, who obtained it from Gilleland. The sweater shows much stage worn wear, especially around the shoulder and upper back area where it is slightly thinned out, probably from where Elvis would have had his guitar strap slung around his body. Accompanied by a notarized letter of provenance Tom Morgan and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
