This is Elvis Presley's original "Jailhouse Rock" film used Harmony Sunburst acoustic guitar that he used during the song "I Wanna Be Free". After the film wrapped he gave the guitar to his friend Lama Fike, who was also an extra in several of the scenes with Elvis. He signed and inscribed the guitar to Lamar, "To Lamar, thanks for nothing! Elvis Presley" which was typical of Elvis' humor. The guitar bears the MGM stamp inside. The name of the guitar is blacked out on the guitar as was the Colonel's way of never providing something for free in the way of advertising. Very good condition. Accompanied by letters of provenance from Lamar Fike and Charlie Hodge as well as photographs of Elvis using it in the movie. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
