These are Elvis Presley's personally owned and owned black Verde boots (Elvis' preferred brand of boots) that he also wore during the filming of his last film, "Change Of Habit." Both boots are stamped inside  "Elvis Presley #2." Elvis gave these  boots to Gary Pepper, his long time friend and president of the Tankers Fan Club in Memphis. The soles of both boots have been signed and inscribed by Elvis to Gary. One is signed and dedicated " To Gary your friend Elvis Presley." The other sole reading "To Gary Many thanks your friend Elvis Presley. Gary had cerebral palsy and  Elvis purchased a home  for him and gave several members of his family jobs at Graceland. Gary helped out  with the fan mail at Graceland from time to time. Very good condition. With photograph of Elvis wearing the boots, or ones exactly like them, on the set as well as a letter of provenance from Charlie Hodge who was present when Elvis gave the boots to Gary. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
