Elvis Presley owned and worn iconic blue suede shoes, size 10 1/2. Elvis gifted these shoes to his friend Alan Fortas who knew Elvis for practically his entire life. He was also Elvis' ranch foreman at the Circle G Ranch and appeared with Elvis in many films as a extra. He was also with Elvis in the concert in the round segment for the historic 1968 NBC Comeback Special. As will many of Elvis' generous gifts, these gifted blue suede shoes come with a great story. According to the letter of authenticity from Alan Fortas, Elvis gave him these shoes the night before Elvis' induction into the U.S. Army in Memphis: Elvis had an all night party at Graceland and afterwards a group of them to the Rainbow roller rink. After they got back to Graceland Elvis called some of the revelers upstairs and was giving away some of his clothes he didn't think he would be bearing or want when he came back from the army. Elvis then gave Alan these shoes, and Alan kept them in his personal collection for many years. Very good condition. In addition to the letter from Alan Fortas, the shoes are also accompanied by a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
