Elvis Presley’s owned and worn turquoise and coral silver ring. Elvis gifted the ring to his close firend and karate instructor Ed Parker in the 1970's. According to Ed Parker, he and Elvis first met at a karate demonstration that Ed was giving at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in late 1960. Elvis attended the demonstration and he and Ed immediately bonded and became close friends. Over the years he taught Elvis karate off on and on for the remainder of Elvis's life, and even accompanied Elvis on his tours to protect him. In his letter that accompanies this ring, Ed states that this ring was one of the many types of "American Indian heritiage inspired jewelry" that Elvis started wearing in the early 1970's, as he greatly admired their culture and jewelry. Ed had admired this ring many times and Elvis gifted it to him on one of his tours. Very good vintage condition. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Ed Parker on his International Kenpo Karate Association letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
