These were Elvis Presley's personal cufflinks that he gifted to his friend and bodyguard Sam Thompson at the Sahara Hotel on April 30, 1976, the start of a two week engagement by Elvis. Sam had forgotten to pack cufflinks and Elvis noticed that he had rolled up his shirt sleeves. Elvis took Sam to his hotel suite and gave him these cufflinks from his personal travel case. Sam had been introduced to Elvis in 1972 and became a part of his inner circle, eventually becoming a personal bodyguard until Elvis' death in 1977. Very good condition, comes with affidavit from Sam Thompson regarding provenance. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
