The original artwork used to print the United Mutations fan club membership certificate, signed in ink by Frank Zappa. United Mutations was the circa 1966/67 Mothers of Invention fan club. Hand drawn in black ink on art board, this measures 12" x 13 1/2"; with crop marks and a notation that the certificate was to be printed on 9" x 11" parchment. We do not know the artist responsible for this very detailed artwork, but it is beautiful indeed. Zappa has signed in ink, as the "issuing officer." This came from the estate of original Mothers manager Herb Cohen, and is a unique, museum quality collectible. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
