Renowned composer George Gershwin signed 1933 letter typed on his personal stationery on the topic of providing a letter of introduction to fellow composer/conductor Walter Damrosch who years earlier had conducted the world premiere of Gershwin compositions including the Concerto in F which Gershwin wrote on commission for Damrosch. Very good condition with two small paper tears near the top of the letter and fold lines from mailing. A significant letter nonetheless. 8.375 X 9.25. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
