The American astronaut Gordon Cooper has signed and inscribed this photograph “Best wishes to the Radford School. Gordon Cooper,” in black pen. Cooper was the youngest of the seven original astronauts in Project Mercury, the first human space program in the United States. 8 X 10. Very minor handling marks with glue residue on verso.
