A James Brown original 1967 engagement contract with Maple Leaf Gardens Limited to perform on November 19, 1967. Signed by Brown's booking agent Irwin Pate in blue ballpoint pen. Pate was a concert promoter who played a key role in building Brown's career. Measures 8.5 x 14. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
