Janis Joplin Stage Worn Cream Suede Top

Janis Joplin's stage worn long-sleeved cream suede top. From the collection of renowned booking agent and promotional manager Irwin Pate. Pate was well-known in show business for over four decades. Over his long career, he and his wife Clarine Pate, obtained a large collection of personal clotting and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Pate knew Janis Joplin and worked with her on a few occasions. During one of their meetings, Pate told Janis about his collection and she gave him some items that she no longer needed. Included in these items was this cream-colored suede shirt that she had worn in concert. Good condition, with wear from being used on stage. Comes with a letter from Irwin's widow, Clarine Pate, on Pate Entertainment, Inc. letterhead, and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
