Jimi Hendrix 1968 owned and worn button down, long-sleeved psychedelic floral shirt. Hendrix traded this shirt to a fan who had become an acquaintance while attending all of The Jimi Hendrix Experience New York City metropolitan area performances in 1967 and 1968, including late night jam sessions at local clubs and hanging out at the hotels that Hendrix stayed in. In early 1968, the end of January or early February, she was speaking with Hendrix in the lobby of the Wellington Hotel when he mentioned he liked the pin she was wearing. She offered to trade it for one of his shirts and he agreed. Very good condition. Comes with a letter of provenance from the woman who obtained the shirt from Hendrix, small copy of a picture showing her and Hendrix with him wearing her pin at the Wellington, and copies of her drawings she made during that time when she was following the band. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
