Jimi Hendrix owned and worn black velvet jacket. Originally from the personal collection of Noel Redding the jacket comes with a handwritten and twice-signed letter of provenance from Redding that he has dated 1994, written on his own note stationery with his printed name, New York City 1994, and "Hendrix" printed at the top. In the letter he confirms that the jacket from "Andrews" (The Cypriot Taylor) was owned and worn by Jimi Hendrix circa 1967-68. He states that Chas Chandler purchased jackets for each of them during the Jimi Hendrix Experience package tour in Cardiff, and that his was red. He states that Jimi marked the tag because they all lost heir clothes while on tour because 5 bands were riding on the came coach. Very good condition. In addition to the letter from Redding, this jacket comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
