New York Yankees legend Joe DiMaggio and his new bride, the beautiful Marilyn Monroe are pictured here kissing at their wedding ceremony in this 7 x 8.5 black and white original wire photograph. DiMaggio and Monroe eloped on January 14, 1954 (the wire story here has a misprint of "1953"), and sadly they divorced only 9 months later. His great love for her was truly evident following her tragic death, as he orchestrated her funeral, keeping it private and dignified. He would have roses delivered to her grave site twice a week for the next 20 years. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
