Joey Ramone's personally owned and used turquoise Kurosawa Marine Rider electric guitar. It is the only guitar we know of that he actually owned at the time of his death. Although Joey never traditionally played an instrument with the Ramones, he did sometimes write songs using this guitar. With the original leather guitar strap that Joey used with the guitar, the guitar is missing the whammy bar and the battery cover on the reverse is partially cracked. The Kurosawa Marine Rider is exclusively made and sold in Japan and was thus likely purchased by Joey during one of the Ramones early to mid-1990's tours in Japan. Comes with a letter of provenance from the Joey Ramone Estate and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
