John Bonham's owned and used silver cigarette case. From the collection of Clarine M. Pate, the wife of renowned booking legend and promotion manager Irwin Pate. Irwin, who is deceased now, had a long career in the entertainment business (he is perhaps best known as the promoter and manager of James Brown), and he and his wife obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Irwin knew John Bonham and he obtained this cigarette case from inside a messenger bag that John Bonham had discarded and left behind at a venue. Very good condition. Comes with letter of authenticity from Clarine Pate on W.A.C. Entertainment & Pate letterhead.
