John Lennon's owned and used "John Lennon 1977" engraved musical lighter. From the collection of the late Irwin Pate who passed away in May 2018. Irwin was a renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States and Internationally and during his career he and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Irwin knew John Lennon and worked with him on a few occasions. During one of their meetings, Irwin told John about his collection. John then arranged to gift some of his items to Irwin for his collection, including this engraved musical lighter. It has been in the Pate collection ever since. A fabulous piece for display. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Irwin Pate's widow, Clarine Pate on the Pate company letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
