KISS front man Gene Simmons first stage used Punisher electric guitar custom made by B.C. Rich. The guitar is accompanied by the original B.C. Rich custom hard guitar case. This is the first Punisher to be shown to the public. It was first featured in the 1992 B.C. Rich catalog. In the catalog, it states “Look for Gene to play his new punisher bass in the upcoming Revenge tour”. There have been several advertisements featuring this guitar including the ad where “Gene Simmons blew his mind.”. B.C. Rich were the only guitar makers that made the iconic Punisher bass for Gene. Judging by photo and video evidence Gene had 3 B.C. Rich Punishers that he used for the Revenge tour (and a few more years after that while he set up shop for himself). This punisher was played by Gene on the “Revenge” tour and reportedly played on the “Kiss my ass” tour. In very good condition, the guitar comes with a letter of provenance, a photo of Simmons with the guitar, an original magazine with Simmons on the cover with the guitar, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
