Offered here is an incredible pair of 1973 Hotel Diplomat tickets that were personally owned by Gene Simmons and signed by Bill Aucoin on the glass frame. The framed display came from the original 2000 Butterfields auction that was done with KISS. The display features two tickets, one for the July, 13 1973 show and the other for the August, 10 1973 show. Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, without a booking agent or manager yet, booked the Diplomat themselves for some of their earliest New York dates well before the release of their first album in February 1974. They started recording that album three months after these gigs, for Neil Bogart's Casablanca Records. An incredible lot, comes with the original Butterfields receipt and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
