This is an original Nirvana setlist handwritten and used on stage by Kurt Cobain during the band’s June 21, 1992 concert at The Point Theatre in Dublin, Ireland. This concert took place during the Euro-leg of Nirvana’s “Nevermind” tour, while the band was experiencing an incredibly fast rise in fame. “Nevermind” was released at the end of 1991 and the studio had initially shipped under 100,000 copies between both the United States and the United Kingdom. Nirvana had moderate success on their first album “Bleach,” but the album — along with lead single “Smells Like Teen Spirit” — were so successful that Nirvana’s record company did not even have enough time to enact any of their marketing campaigns. The album was sold out everywhere it was shipped, and Nirvana’s concerts went from decently crowded to dangerously over-sold overnight.

This setlist is both special and rare in that it features many of the album’s greatest hits, namely “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” As Nirvana got more famous, Cobain infamously opposed their success and either intentionally misplayed or even cut “Smells Like Teen Spirit” from their set list altogether. Measures 8” x 11.5”. Fair condition. Comes with a Roger Epperson (REAL) Letter of Authenticity, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
