Led Zeppelin brought its unprecedented sound-light spectacle around the world during their world tours. Selling out huge stadiums every weekend, showcasing their three hour “heavy-metal” rock and roll performances. The band was known to relax backstage after their concerts, and this is Robert Plants tour robe worn frequently backstage after performances. There are several pictures showing Robert Plant wearing an identical robe backstage during their 1977 tour. This robe came directly from Richard Cole, who gave this to someone in the music industry as a way to pay off a debt. Richard Cole was the tour manager from 1968-1980 of Led Zeppelin, making this robe as authentic as can be. Good condition. Comes with a letter of provenance and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
