An S.S. President Harding ships menu for the Gala Dinner dated June 18, 1936 autographed by several of the more famous guests in attendance including actress Lily Pons and Irish boxer Jack Doyle (known as “The Gorgeous Gael”) and his wife Judith Allen Doyle. Judith had been the girlfriend of boxer Max Baer, whose older brother Buddy Baer had fought Doyle four months after their April 1935 wedding. Interestingly, Pons provided her phone number “For future reference.” Measure 6 X 9 when closed. An attractive signed keepsake from onboard this famous United Stater Lines ship making passage between America and Europe with some famed celebrities on board. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
