These are the original handwritten working lyrics by John Lennon to his song "Rock and Roll People." Written on unlined off white paper in black ink Lennon has written fourteen lines of lyrics. This is probably the first time Lennon began writing this song. This composition appears on the album "Menlove Ave." Handwritten lyrics for recorded Lennon songs are almost impossible to acquire. Lennon handwritten lyrics have brought record prices at auction with "All You Need is Love" selling for 1.2 million dollars and "Give Peace A Chance" selling for over 1 million dollars. This is a rare opportunity to obtain an extremely important John Lennon handwritten manuscript. Good condition.
