Elvis Presley wore these San Remo black leather boots in his famous 1968 NBC "Comeback" special, during various segments. The boots feature rows of stitching around the top opening of the boots that can clearly be seen in photographs. Elvis gave the boots to his close friend Alan Fortas at the completion of the show's filming. Fortas, who was also Elvis' range foreman at his Circle G Ranch, appeared with Elvis in many films as an extra and was with Elvis in the concert in the round segment of the special. Very good condition. Comes letter of provenance from Alan Fortas a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity and photographs of Elvis wearing the boots. Please note: the description here has been slightly altered from the one appearing in the catalog.
