A fantastic piece of rock and roll history from Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Slash; this is his 1990 “Stravinski” Custom Strat used during the Guns N’ Roses UYI Tour for the song “Double Talkin Jive.” This beautiful black strat was custom made for Slash by the well known owner of Music Works, Jim Foote who built several Slash guitars as well as others made for many top musicians. The most well known Slash guitar of all (the famous ’59 Gibson Les paul replica used to record Appetite for Destruction) was actually made by one of Jim’s employees, Kris Derrig; so clearly there is a very deep + interesting history here. Printed on the back of this guitar is “9005” (stands for 1990 and one of 5 guitars made) and “Crafted by Jim Foote and Ken Hitsman.” “Stravinski” which appears on the head stock, represents Stravinsky Brothers Management,” who managed the band at the time and who ordered guitars for Slash. This is a rare opportunity to acquire such a custom, handcrafted guitar used by one of the greatest electric guitar players in the world. Comes with original hardshell case and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
