Michael Jackson "HIStory Tour" stage worn custom black wool fedora. With Michael's name printed in gold on the inside and the inner gold tag designating it a size Large. According to the individual who obtained the fedora, Michael wore it while performing on December 8, 1996 in Manila. At the begging of his song "Billie Jean" Michael thew the hat towards the right edge of the stage where it accidentally fell into the pit where the security and first-aid teams where working. Jackson got a new hat for the second part of the song and the fedora that fell off the state was given to a few fans standing in the first row near the security guard. Michael Jackson can e seen in multiple recordings as he begins the show in a hat with the brim turned upon the back (supported by a thread) but at the end of the performance he is wearing a normal brim hat. Very good condition. Comes with a letter of provenance from the fan who obtained the hat and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
