Boxing legend Muhammad Ali has boldly signed the cover of this March 22, 1963 issue of “Time” Magazine featuring his art portrait as “Cassius Marcellus Clay.” Clay was named after his father Cassius Marcellus Clay, Sr. and after his historic defeat of Sonny Liston on February 1964 had announced his conversion to Islam, changing his name from Cassius Clay to Muhammad Ali. HIghly desirable especially since the magazine is a newsstand issue, absent a mailing label. Very good condition.
