Rod Stewart's owned and worn Red Squad black leather racing jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, Red Squad and black and white racing flag patches, and a number "35" patch on the front. Rod Stewart and his band wore "hard hats" for his very first concert at Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre on March 26, 2005, which is where Rod Stewart wore this famous jacket you are bidding on. A few years later, Stewart was staying at the Marriott Hotel in Boston in 2007 when he left his jacket on the back of his chair at the hotel's restaurant where he was having dinner. A hotel worker found the jacket and tried to return it to Rod. When he did, Rod told him he could keep it, and so he did. This individual subsequently told the story to a friend and gave the jacket to the friend. Size Large. Overall good condition, the jacket shows wear from being worn by Rod. Comes with a letter of authenticity from the son of the friend whom it was given to by the hotel worker, a photo of Stewart wearing the jacket in concert, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
