Sex Pistols Sid Vicious has signed his name John Beverley on this contact rider dated 12/27/77. John Beverley is not Sid's legal name, but was the name he took in after his mother married his stepfather Christopher Beverley in 1965, merging his father's first name John with his stepfather's surname Beverley, thus becoming John Beverley. SId's father had abandoned him and mother when they moved to Ibiza, shortly after his birth. Sid's father was supposed to join them, but never came. The contract rider, for a contract with Stone City Attractions is for their at the Longhorn Ballroom on January 19. The rider measures 8.5 x 11 and comes with a color photograph of the Longhorn marquee with the Sex Pistols listed as the headliners, above Merle Haggard. The rider, dated 12/27/77 on the top is also dated 12/19/77 at the bottom, which was probably the date of the contract. With some light wear including a few small stains. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
