Spice Girl Victoria Beckham wore this custom black dress in the Spice Girls "Wannabe" music video as well as in many live performances of "Wannabe" on TV shows around the world, most noticeably Top of The Pops. Victoria also wore the dress on the front cover of the Sunday times magazine in 1996, one of the Spice Girls first major covers of a newspaper magazine in what has become an iconic Spice Girls image. "Wannabe" is the biggest selling single by a girl band, ever. Victoria had this dress specially made for her at a local dress maker in her home town and she wrote about the dress in her autobiography "Learning to Fly". Victoria sold the dress in a charity sale in collaboration with The Outnet.com, raising funds for Mothers to Mothers Aids Foundation, where Victoria sold off over 600 items from her personal wardrobe. Very good condition. The dress comes with photos of Victoria wearing the dress in the video, a certificate of authenticity from Victoria, a letter of provenance, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
