Offered here is Tom Petty’s owned “Roy” Traveling Wilburys silver pendant. From the collection of the late Irwin Pate who passed away in May 2018. Irwin was a renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States and Internationally and during his career he and his wife Clarine obtained a large collection of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. Irwin worked with Tom Petty and told Petty about his collection of items. Petty offered several items, including this “Roy” silver pendant which was given to Petty by a fan. The pendant was supposed to be given to Roy Orbison, but Petty kept it. This was most likely due to Roy Orbison’s death in 1988. Very good vintage condition. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Irwin Pate's widow, Clarine Pate on the Pate company letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
