Tupac Shakur hand-wrote this one page love letter to Simi when he was incarcerated at the Clinton Correction Facility. Tupac and Simi had just begun corresponding after she initially wrote to him with her photo. Over time their relationship deepened until Tupac was quite in love with her. This letter was written at the beginning of their relationship. Tupac hand-wrote the letter on an 8 x 10.5 sheet of lined notebook paper in blue ballpoint pen, signing it "Eternally, 2PAC." Tupac thanks Simi for sending her picture to him telling her it was beautiful and uplifting. He further writes that he can't respond to the many letters he receives, he wants to respond to hers and to get to know her better. He tells her about himself, writing "I'm 23, I get out next year (Hopefully). I just got married. I'm reading a lot, I'm working out and basically getting 2 know the people who I will befriend once I'm released." The letter is accompanied by the original 9.5 x 4 envelope hand addressed by Tupac, with his handwritten return address and inmate number. The envelope is post dated May 12, 1995 and bears the Clinton Correctional Facility stamp as well. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
