U2's the Edge played this Les Paul gold top guitar. circa 1968, when U2 performed "Peace On Earth" at the special concert "America: A Tribute to Heroes", a benefit concert to help support the victims and families of 9/11. The concert was performed on dark sound stage lit by candles and celebrities manned the phones, like a telethon, accepting the donations. It was broadcast live by the major U.S. TV networks. Very good condition. The guitar was purchased from Andy Taylor of Duran Duran by an individual from Harris Hire of Beckenham, U.K. and comes with a letter from this individual, photos of the Edge playing the guitar at the concert, a letter from the Grammy Museum, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
