This is an outstanding 8 X 10 original black and white photograph circa 1965, of New York Knicks Hall of Fame guard, Walt Clyde Frazier taken while attending Southern Illinois University pictured wearing his “Salukis” college basketball uniform. Several pencil and color pencil notations are made on the back of the photograph. Frazier attended Southern Illinois (SIU) under a basketball scholarship where he was named an All-American in 1964 and 1965. He was also named MVP of the 1967 National Invitation Tournament where he led SIU in winning the finals at Madison Square Garden. Frazier was selected by the Knicks in the 1st round of the 1967 NBA Draft where he led the team as a talented guard to the franchises only two NBA Championships (1970, 1973). Excellent condition with production notations made on verso. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
